Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul Prediction
While it is very tough to give a prediction or betting pick for a fight that has little to no meaning, but we’re going to try to do it anyway. Let’s assume for a second that everything and everyone involved in this fight is on the up and up and that no shenanigans or foolery takes place that could alter the reality of the result. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way let’s get into the handicapping.
Floyd Mayweather is arguably the greatest boxer of the most recent generation. Apart from Manny Pacquiao, there really isn’t anyone holding a candle even close to ‘Pretty Boy’ Floyd. The path to victory for Mayweather is quite obvious. Understanding that Logan Paul is the much bigger man, Mayweather will not come out there with guns blazing, looking to take the YouTuber out in the opening moments of the fight. Floyd will implement the same game plan against Conor McGregor, which will be to goad his opponent into bringing the fight to him, evading and measuring while doing so. When the fight reaches about the mid-way point, possibly the 4th or 5th round, that is when we will start to see Floyd turn it on. Logan Paul will begin to tire; he will begin to lower his hands and start to retreat, which is when Mayweather will turn on the gas, put the pressure on Logan Paul, and ultimately find either the KO or the standing T/KO. It’s really that simple. Take Floyd Mayweather at -200 ‘to Win by T/KO’ at -200 (via MyBookie), and call it a night.
