Danielson was initially rumored to be making his AEW debut at the ‘AEW Grand Slam’ event on September 22nd at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. However, it seems that the debut was moved up to fill the All Out event with several surprise debuts.
Bryan Danielson was a long-time WWE mainstay from 2010 to 2021 under the ring name Daniel Bryan. and was featured in the main event of WrestleMania this year. With the transition to AEW, Danielson becomes just the second WWE/WWF wrestler, along with Hulk Hogan (1993), to be featured in the main event of WrestleMania and debut with a new company in the same year.
Danielson was a four-time WWE Champion and is just one of fifteen wrestlers in WWE/WWF history to hold all four major titles in the promotion at one point in his career.

Bryan Danielson Odds: First Opponent/First Loss
Online sportsbooks such as BetOnline posted odds for who Danielson’s first opponent would be, but have since temporality suspended the betting odds.
The newly acquired CM Punk was the strong betting favorite to be Danielson’s first opponent. However, with Danielson spoiling Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and The Elite’s post-match party at All Out, the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is now likely the outright betting favorite to be Danielson’s first opponent.
Meanwhile, online sportsbooks books such as 1XBet have odds posted for who Bryan Danielson’s first loss will come to under the AEW banner.
